Where have I been? \u00a0Has really nothing happened on the franch since last summer? \u00a0Is it writer\u2019s block? \u00a0What could possibly be better than telling you stories from life on the franch? \u00a0The answer is the baby boy in my arms! \u00a0 A baby that I actually can\u2019t tell you much about at all. \u00a0Why? \u00a0It\u2019s because he isn\u2019t \u201cmine.” \u00a0He\u2019s a foster child. \u00a0He\u2019s been a part of our family since last summer when a CPS worker handed him to my outstretched arms. \u00a0Instead of blogging these days, I\u2019ve been super busy giving this precious child a family and praying every day we get to someday adopt him. \u00a0I\u2019m told all the time \u201cHe\u2019s one lucky little boy!\u201d to be a part of my family. \u00a0I say, and I mean with my whole heart, \u201cWe are the lucky ones.\u201d \u00a0Oh, how my family has grown in faith, joy, contentment, and purpose as we\u2019ve faced the challenges, sacrifices, and risks of fostering this sweet boy. \u00a0I can\u2019t tell you what\u2019s going to happen tomorrow with him. \u00a0That\u2019s the world of fostering. \u00a0All I know for sure is that I will love this child for the rest of my life even if he isn’t in my arms forever. \u00a0So, I\u2019m really hoping that I will always have less time to write because of what that would mean. \u00a0The better life is giving this\u00a0child a family who loves him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
